We love creative fundraising! And what could be better than a tasty Italian cookery class that benefits children in the poorest, hungriest nation on earth?
James Holah held a masterclass in pasta cookery to raise funds for Hope for Tomorrow Global’s Education Fund. Hosted by Steve and Terri, all the groups loved the sessions, and the feedback has been amazing.

In total, just over £2000 has been generously donated, which will help to ensure that many children will be able to access or continue with their primary or secondary education, giving them hope for the future.
Our thanks go to all involved, and we are so grateful for your effort and support.

Why fundraise for education in Burundi?
Primary Education is free in Burundi, but children cannot attend school unless they have a school uniform, including shoes, plus books and stationery. Sometimes they even have to provide a chair or contribute towards other costs such as the teacher’s salary too. In the communities Hope for Tomorrow Global is working in, on average it costs around £20 to send each child to school.

Gift of Education
- Education is one of the keys to breaking the cycle of poverty.
- On average, £30 is all it takes to for a primary-aged child to be able to attend school – that’s for a whole year!
