GIVING IMPACT
During 2024, your generosity has enabled us to:
- Support 187 newly-trained farmers to grow enough food to feed themselves and their family for a whole year, which they did for the first time ever by implementing Foundations for Farming, (FfF) which we had previously trained them in.
- Introduce over 100 people to FfF for the first time, including many leaders and influential people, plus over 40 university students. We did this by running numerous FfF workshops and introductory sessions. Many who participated are now eager to undertake the training in 2025.
- Rent over 300 Pfumvudza plots for destitute families, so they could implement FfF and grow enough food to last their families for an entire year.
- Supply a cup of milk to over 120 vulnerable children and nursing mothers every weekday throughout the year, to combat malnutrition, providing them with a vital source of nutrition, boosting their health, development and general wellbeing.
- Provide nutrient-rich porridge to scores of malnourished children and vulnerable adults daily and additional food for families in crisis.
- Provide school uniforms, stationery and books for over 300 children so that they could remain in school and continue to get an education.
- Help young primary-aged children attend school for the first time by providing them with the necessary uniforms and school kits.
- Help hundreds of poor and vulnerable people access medical care and life-saving treatment by covering or helping with medical fees, across two communities.
- Help hundreds of homeless families have shelter by assisting them with rent.
- Build 19 houses for the poorest of the poor, not only to give them a home and help lift them from poverty but also to give them a place of refuge and safety, reducing the risk of them becoming victims of violence and abuse. We also started building a further 18 houses which are still underway.
Thank you for partnering with us to enable all these areas of support and empowerment to be maintained and extended.

Rebuild, Restore
Rebuild, Restore is our latest initiative aimed at helping the poorest of the poor and those who’ve suffered injustice to have a home of their own. This will help enable them to rebuild their lives. We have recently completed 19 houses and families have now moved in. Without the burden of finding monthly rent it is already proving transformative for the families in these homes. They now have security and it’s given them a fresh sense of dignity.
Land has already been purchased for the next 18 houses. These homes are not only a place to live, but provide a place of safety, reducing incidents of assault and abuse, which are common occurrences for the homeless. One house costs around £5000 to build, which includes an outdoor latrine. Any amount you give will help with providing a family with a permanent home, giving them a much brighter and more secure future. It’s truly life-changing!

Fund a Farmer, feed a nation.
- £15 provides a trainee farmer with a training manual for Foundations for Farming.
- £25 a month funds a farmer to be trained in Foundations for Farming, over the period of one year. It also provides them with a plot of rented land and the seed and equipment needed for them to feed their family for a year at the end of their training.
- A one-off donation of £55 can rent a piece of land 16m x 39m, known as a Pfumvudza plot, which is the size needed by a family for them to feed themselves for an entire year when implementing Foundations for Farming faithfully.
- A one-off donation of £120 can provide a trained farmer with a ‘Pfumvudza Pack’ containing all the seeds and equipment needed to get started. Your donation will also cover the rent of a pfumvudza plot.

Gift of Education
- £10 can provide a child with a school uniform and shoes.
- £35 can buy a primary-aged child a uniform, shoes and the necessary kit (e.g. stationery, exercise and texts book) to enable them to attend school for a year.
